Privacy Policy
This page is a draft template, written to match Glozzer's current product design, and has not undergone legal review. Before going live, please verify the data actually collected and the contact details yourself.
Our principles
Glozzer stores only what is necessary to provide the service. The content you create and paste into the app is your private content: we use it to save and sync your work, and we do not make it public, share it with third parties, or sell it.
What data we store
- The text you paste and your marks: the lyric text you paste into the app (stored character by character), the symbols, accents, breath marks, and layers you create for it, and your practice notes and workspace structure. This is stored on your account so you can continue across devices.
- Account data: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the basic identifying information needed to create an account (such as email address, display name). Guest mode does not require any of this.

About lyrics
Glozzer does not provide, or obtain from any third party, any lyrics — all text is pasted in by you. What you paste is your private data, used only to provide this service; we will not make it public or distribute it, and you can delete it at any time.
How we use data
We use the data above to provide and maintain this service — storing and syncing your marks, displaying your workspaces, maintaining your sign-in state, and troubleshooting issues and improving stability. We do not sell your personal data.
Usage records and analytics
To keep the service running and improve the product, we ourselves record the following information (processed on our own servers; we do not use any third-party analytics or advertising services):
- Sign-in records: sign-in time, sign-in method (guest / Google / Apple, etc.), IP address, device model and operating system, and app version.
- Usage events: the type of action you take in the app and when it happened (e.g. "created a workspace," "added a symbol"). Events contain only the action type and internal identifiers — not the lyric text you pasted, mark notes, or note content.
- Signup source: if you arrive via a promotional link or QR code, we record that link's referral code at signup, to evaluate the promotion's effectiveness.
These records are linked to your account and used only to provide the service, understand feature usage, and improve the product; they are not used for advertising, do not track you across other apps or websites, and are never shared with or sold to any third party. Records are kept for only a limited period and then routinely deleted (currently: usage events for about 90 days, sign-in records for up to about 400 days); they are also deleted when you delete your account.
Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies or browser local storage to maintain your sign-in session and basic preferences. These are necessary for the service to function.
Third-party services
- Sign-in services: when you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, authentication is handled by those providers.
- Hosting and infrastructure: we host the service and database through cloud providers.
Each of these third parties' own privacy policy applies to the data they process.
Push notifications
If you allow push notifications, we collect your device's push token. This is a device-level identifier used only to deliver notifications related to this service, and is linked to your account to enable delivery; it is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. You can turn off push notifications at any time in your device's system settings.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete your own workspaces and content. If you would like to delete your account and associated data, please contact us at the email address below.
Children's privacy
This service is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal data without consent, please contact us and we will help address it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When there is a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page.
